DAY 34, Galatians 6 and Ephesians 1 and 2

Good Morning!  My name is Carissa and I was asked to give you a devotional thought from Galatians 6 and Ephesians 1 and 2.
KEY VERSES:

Galatians 6:2
Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

REFLECTIONS:
Can we, as Christians who are obeying God’s law, try to take on the burdens of one who is a non-Christian, one who is of the flesh, and being this, has succumbed and has been overshadowed by sin?  No.  We can lift them up, though!!!  We can encourage them by showing them what God wants for them in their life through His Word.  We can make sure that they know they are loved and forgiven.

APPLICATION:
I have a few friends who are non-Christian.  I care about them very much.  They know where I stand with God, and in times where they have found themselves burdened, they have come for advice.  I cannot give them the answer or advice that they need.  I can get under the load with them, though, and take them to the one true God Who has all the answers.  Show them in the Bible why we should or should not do something.  Pray with them.  Love them.  And make sure they know that God loves them even more, that they can be forgiven.

Thank you for being a part of the 40-Day Challenge.  Thanks for reading, and you have a blessed day!
In Christ,

Carissa
