DAY 22, ROMANS 15-16, I CORINTHIANS 1

Good Morning! Our names are Chuck and Jan Marrs and we were asked to give you a devotional thought from the book of Romans chapters 15 and 16, and I Corinthians 1.

KEY VERSES:  Romans 15:7, Romans 15:31-32, I Corinthians 1:18, Corinthians1:31

REFLECTIONS:  As we read through Romans 15 and 16, we felt that the Holy Spirit was speaking to us that we as believers in Jesus Christ as Savior, have a responsibility to accept all who accept Jesus as Savior, regardless of our own personal feelings.  (Romans 15: 7 Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.)  The Jews of this day were divided on some of the issues in the church, and some were even trying to kill Paul for his testimony that the Messiah had already come, been crucified and had risen from the dead.  Romans 15 promotes unity in the church as well as in Christ. Thank God for the grace of God that brings forgiveness of sin through the death and resurrection of Jesus.

APPLICATION:  During this year and the years to come, let us live our lives, Holy
and acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.  Rom. 12:1

Thank you for being a part of the 40 Day-Challenge.  Thanks for reading, and you have a blessed day!

In Christ,  Chuck & Jan
