This is the first day of the 40-day Challenge in God’s Word. Many of us have never read the Word consistently for any length of time. I would venture to say that no Christian would deny the power of God’s Word, but yet we render it powerless to change our lives when we leave it on our shelves. My prayer is that as you begin this New Year, that you will allow the Holy Spirit of God and the Word of God to make lasting changes in your life. There is no other time to seek God but now! The Christian life is lived in the present, not in past glories, or dreams of future triumphs, but in the reality of today. Where ever you find yourself in your walk with God, start now, start today, and begin to walk with Christ through his indwelling Spirit. Matthew 6:33 – Seek first the Kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you.
